InteractivHealth plc is a provider of technology enabled business solutions to the healthcare and pharmaceuticals market. An innovative solution has been developed by InteractivHealth named imPaCT. Its mission is to improve access to healthcare resources for public, patients, healthcare professionals and organisations.
The total value of the market, defined by InteractivHealth, for providing both web infrastructure and interactive services is estimated to be worth in the region of £40-50m. Because of its leading position and differential advantages InteractivHealth is planning to achieve a market leadership position in the PCT market (40% by PCT numbers) and online pharmaceutical sponsorship market within 4 years.
InteractivHealth have been working successfully with a number of Primary Care Trusts in the UK that have installed their "imPaCT" system. This system has received good reviews in the Health Service Journal and the PCTs which has spurred the company on to expand its marketing accross the UK.
Initially funded by a sponsorship from Pfizer, InteractivHealth are now riasing further finance in the UK through an Offer for Subcription lead by Capital Index.
The Offer opens on 5th April 2004 and prior approval has been given for investors in the Offer to receive tax relief under the Enterprise Investment Scheme.
